Every project begins with a thorough assessment of the site, whether it’s a large commercial lot, a municipal park, a roadside embankment or an institutional site. We analyze topography, soil type, sun exposure and specific objectives (e.g. erosion control, low maintenance, landscape integration) to define the best strategy. We then determine the type of seed, the optimal mix and the timetable to suit your needs. Our collaborative approach makes it easy to integrate the service into your worksite.

Depending on the needs of the project, appropriate soil preparation is carried out. This may include levelling, removing debris or adding topsoil if necessary, to ensure a solid base for revegetation, even on very large surfaces.

This is where our expertise makes the difference. We prepare a mixture (“slurry”) specifically tailored to the project’s requirements in our high-capacity hydro-seeders. This mixture contains :

• Water.
• Specific seeds: Selected not only for their adaptation to the climate of Greater Montreal, but also to meet the needs of the project (e.g. trample-resistant grasses for parks, native species for renaturalization, fast-growing mixes for erosion control).
• High-Performance Mulches: Wood fibers or other biodegradable mulches designed for maximum water retention and effective protection against erosion.
• Adapted Fertilizers: Nutrients formulated to support the rapid establishment and long-term health of vegetation in sometimes difficult conditions.
• High-performance binding agents (Tackifiers): Essential for sloping ground or exposed areas, these biodegradable agents ensure that the mix adheres to the soil, preventing leaching and maximizing grain-soil contact.

Thanks to our powerful and precise hydraulic equipment, we spray the mixture evenly over the entire target area. This method enables us to quickly cover large areas, steep slopes and hard-to-reach zones, ensuring even, efficient application. The result is a protective layer that promotes germination and reduces losses due to external conditions.

The mixture creates a microclimate conducive to rapid germination. We provide clear guidelines for initial maintenance (watering, if necessary) and can follow up to ensure the success of the vegetation in line with project expectations.
